UNDERSTANDING THE TRANSACTION RECEIVED EMAIL NOTIFICATION

Overview

The Transaction Received email is sent each time ARISE processes a new payment—whether it’s an authorization, sale, refund, or EFT (ACH). It gives merchants real-time insight into individual transactions so they can confirm activity, follow up with customers, or troubleshoot issues immediately.

Note: Only Merchant Managers control which portal users receive this notification; staff users cannot adjust their own preferences.

When to Expect It

  • Trigger – A new card or EFT (ACH) transaction is submitted through any of these methods:
Terminal, Virtual Terminal, Invoice, Quick Payment, Subscription, or API Integration.

  • Frequency – Real-time; ARISE sends one email for every processed transaction (approved or declined).
